About Tyler Haakana

As a professional Real Estate Agent and Lead Buyer Specialist, Tyler Haakana has been a valued member of the Heather Ferguson Realty Group since 2021. From the outset, his high integrity and genuine care for clients made him the perfect fit for the team.

Tyler understands that home buying is one of life's most significant events. He is dedicated to treating each client and transaction with the utmost care, ensuring constant communication, and exploring every possible avenue to benefit his buyers. Heather praises Tyler for his unwavering commitment to his clients. 

Born and raised in the Eastern Sierra Mountains near Mammoth Lakes, California, Tyler earned his bachelor’s degree from Azusa Pacific University and became a general contractor specializing in custom homes. He married his wife, Hannah, in 2009, and they have three wonderful children and a St. Bernard.

Before transitioning to real estate, Tyler served as a training captain at the Long Valley Fire Department for 16 years. When Hannah received a job offer to manage hospital emergencies in the Treasure Valley, the family relocated to Idaho. Leveraging his extensive knowledge of homes and construction, Tyler now helps buyers find their dream properties.

Fun facts: Tyler has traveled to Bolivia, Argentina, Honduras, China, Zambia, and Thailand twice, assisting in reconstructing homes and aiding families after natural disasters. His last name, Haakana, is pronounced HAH-kuh-nah.
