Welcome to Eagle East

Location:

North of Highway 44 and east of Eagle Road is the east side of Eagle. It was one of the first areas of Eagle to be developed. In east Eagle you will find mature landscaping, established neighborhoods and the downtown corridor. Not to mention you can stroll or bike along Floating Feather Road and enjoy the colorful foliage during the fall.
 

North of Floating Feather:

Lexington Hills is a sought-after development in east Eagle and is known for its 3 miles of walking paths and water features. Correspondingly, Brookwood is attractive with its community pool, sports field, basketball court and clubhouse. Off Beacon Light Road there are many acreage properties leading into the foothills.
 

South of Floating Feather:

You will find Eagle Hills and Eagle Hills West south of Floating Feather Road. Not having a Homeowner’s Association or HOA is a highlight of these neighborhoods for many residents. Additionally, the Eagle Hills Golf & Country Club is in Eagle Hills and hosts a restaurant, event center and nine-hole golf course. We can provide an amenities list of any location upon request.
 

Greatschools.org:

According to GreatSchools.org, there are two elementary schools in the east part of Eagle. These include Sevenoaks Elementary located in Lexington Hills neighborhood and Eagle Hills Elementary off Ranch Drive.
 

Parks & Recreation:

The East side of Eagle has five amazing public parks. Located off Hill Road is Stephen C. Guerber Park. It hosts a splash pad to let the children cool off during the summer heat before they venture onto the playground. Furthermore, there are shelters to reserve for parties, horseshoe pits, a walking path, basketball court, baseball diamond and field for soccer or football.
 
Secondly, the Eagle Bike Park and is located off Old Horseshoe Bend Road. It is the epicenter of extensive mountain biking and hiking trailheads. It hosts a BMX track, R/C car track, skate park and a basketball court or roller hockey pad.
 
Subsequently, Heritage Park is in Downtown Eagle and is home to many different venues. These include the Eagle Saturday Market and where various artists perform concerts throughout the year. State Street is shut down several times a year to provide a venue for outdoor festivities catered by food trucks and an assortment of vendors. The downtown area has a quaint old-town feel featuring numerous restaurants, businesses, and shops.
 
The last two parks are walking distance to downtown Eagle. Orval Krasen Park is off Stierman Way which includes a playground area. Comparably, Friendship Park is just up the road on Ranch Drive and boasts a playground and tennis courts.
 

Business District:

Nearby Walgreen’s and Albertson’s, Plaza Drive leads you to the business district of Eagle off Iron Eagle Road. This incorporates Crunch Fitness which is home to 3 indoor pools. Presently, The Eagle Police Department, Eagle Fire Station #1 and various other office buildings encompass this area. Just down the road to the east is Winco grocery store, Home Depot, restaurants, shops and businesses.
 

Highway Access:

Finally, another great feature of east Eagle is the access to Highway 44, also known as State Street. You can head east and be in downtown Boise in roughly 20 to 25 minutes. Of course, there is also direct access to Highway 55 for the short jaunt up north into the Boise Mountains and Boise National Forest.
 

North From Eagle:

“Up north” is where people head for camping, fishing, hiking, kayaking and white water rafting along the Payette River. Notably, even further north are areas for skiing, boating and lodging. Eagle is less than two hours to the popular destinations of Lake Cascade and Payette Lake. Lake Cascade is surrounded by the cities of Cascade and Donnelly. Donnelly includes the self-contained Tamarack Ski Resort. Finally, Payette Lake is in the city of McCall, close to Brundage Ski Resort. It has been referenced as a mini Lake Tahoe.
